About Xiao

Prof. Cheng serves as the Dean of the School of Geospatial Engineering and Science and the Director of the Polar Research Center. He is also the director of  Key Laboratory of Comprehensive Observation of Polar Environment  (Sun Yat-sen University), Ministry of Education. Dedicated to the research on the theories, methods and applications of remote sensing in polar regions. Specialized on the interaction mechanism of polar ice shelf - sea ice - regional climate system, key polar sea ice parameters derivation .
